10.4″ Multifunctional Displays

With a screen size of 10.4″, a variety of different processor versions and designs our multifunction display series BC3, BC4 and BC7 can cover almost any application and meet performance expectations. Available are ARM Cortex A9, Freescale PowerPC, x86 processors from Vortex, VIA and Intel. In particular, the new Intel Atom Bay Trail leaves nothing to be desired in terms of performance and graphics.

While our multifunctional displays of the BC3-series have been specifically developed for use on railway vehicles, their flexibility and robustness make them well suitable for any other mobile application as well. The modular concept with its large selection of different processor technologies, expandability with various interfaces and the slim design offers a large bandwidth of possible areas of use.

  • (UIC-) keyboard layout or touch screen
  • LED-Backlight
  • low installation depth
  • typical interfaces on board: RS422/RS485, RS232, Ethernet, CAN, USB
  • expansion via PC/104 / Mini-PCIe slot possible (e.g. MVB)
  • wide range power supply 24-110V DC (+/- 40%)

Where devices in the UIC612-format are needed with a scalable output on very small spaces and an all-round hermetically sealed housing, our latest product, the BC7-series, is used. Its front is designed according to the standard requirements of the UIC both mechanically and by its keyboard layout. This device series thus is perfect for use as an MMI (DDS) and functionally as a TRD, TDD, CCD and ETD.

  • UIC612 keyboard layout and installation dimensions
  • VGA-Display with LED-Backlight
  • lowest installation depth, only 45mm
  • interfaces: Serial, Ethernet, USB (service)
  • expansion via Mini-PCIe slot possible (e.g. MVB or customer specific)
  • wide range power supply 24-110V DC (+/- 40%)

Processor versions:

BC79xx
– powerful Intel Atom Bay Trail
– newest generation EBuLa display
– developed according to DB specification
– incl. all interfaces of the previous generations
– maintenance-free

BC77xx
– newest Intel processor generation Apollo Lake E3900 (in preparation)
– machine-technical display

BC72xx
– Vortex (x86-) processor
– low power dissipation, long-time available
– capable to run all common and even older (!) x86 operating systems (refurbishment)
