As an independent and owner-managed company, we have been focusing on railway technology and market fields with similarly high demands for a more than a decade. Our product range includes on-board computers as well as display and driver assistance systems (HMI, IDU, MMI) for railway and special vehicles according to railway standards EN50155 and EN45545. Renowned vehicle manufacturers from the railway industry and the mining industry around the world already rely on GERSYS technology. Our success is due to the long loyalty of our customer base and the continually increasing number of new customers. We will gladly be your reliable partner for flexible and individual solutions as well.
Wherever devices are needed in the smallest possible space and with completely hermetically sealed housing, the GERSYS BC7 series is used. This product series is perfectly suited for applications as HMI/MMI (DDS) and is a functionally all-in-one design as TRD, TDD, CCD and ETD. With an installation depth of only 45 mm.
Like all other HMIs from GERSYS, these devices comply with the EN 50155 and EN 45545 railway standards and are equipped with wide-range power supplies to avoid the logistical effect of vehicle-specific variants. Thanks to the use of a modular concept, various screen resolutions, keyboard or touch variants and interfaces are available.
With an optional WiFi interface, for instance, service staff are able to have a secure data transmission for application software uploads or vehicle data downloads. The unique USB charging interface on the front is designed for use with smartphones and tablets.
With our on-board display devices for EBuLa (DB application electronic timetable) and now also for FASSI (also a DB application for efficient vehicle operation), customers trust us as the market leader with the best-selling devices in rail sector.
GERSYS’ large range of HMIs has been expanded by a new modular computer system. In devices such as routers, gateways and in decentralized computer applications, a screen is usually not required in the operating mode. For such applications, the Rail PC with its different hardware interfaces (such as MVB, serial, LAN, WLAN, GSM and GSM-R) was designed. Thus it can also serve as a protocol converter (with respective software).
The VC7400 impresses with its slim design and also latest processor technology, the Intel E3940 Apollo Lake. To provide maximum protection against interference from the vehicle electrical system, the Rail PC is equipped with a maintenance-free, integrated UPS and has an extended temperature range. With its passive, fanless cooling concept it operates reliably either when mounted vertically or horizontally.
Furthermore the VC7400 can also be used as a data distribution center and a monitor from GERSYS’ highly reliable VM series can be easily connected via standard interfaces, such as VGA, DVI or HDMI.
For modular solutions (computers with remote display) we offer highly reliable, railway conform video monitors. A standardized signal input (e.g. DVI, HDMI or VGA) displays the digital information on the TFT screen. As usual with GERSYS, the video monitors operate in the voltage range from 24 to 110V DC (+/- 40%). An automatic brightness control is installed as standard, also an additional manual control of the display brightness via three buttons is possible. The monitors are designable via VESA mounting or as built-in device.
Optional versions with integrated touch screen or keyboard are also available.
InnoTrans is the leading international trade fair for Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction. The twelfth InnoTrans will take place at Berlin Exhibition Grounds from 18th to 21st September 2018.
Also this year GERSYS will present their most recent innovations of on-board computers and MMIs/HMIs. We look forward to welcoming you at our stand 101 in hall 4.2
At this years surveillance audit by DEKRA we again achieved a very positiv result. We have successfully passed the certification according to the new IRIS Rev.3 ISO/TS 22163 standard.
Also this time the evaluation figures have been improved further.
