Reliable, sustainable, personal – we are GERSYS

We find solutions – even for the most demanding requirements and extreme environmental conditions. And that is what we have been doing since 2001.

GERSYS develops and manufactures graphic display units (HMI/IDU/MMI), on-board computers and driver assistance systems for use in railway and special vehicles in accordance with the railway standards EN50155 and EN45545.

Our products
Distinctively robust and durable – that is the bottom line for GERSYS products. Whether they are in use in the icy cold of Siberia, the dry heat of Australia's deserts or the tropical humidity of South America – they deliver absolutely reliable data. That is why we are the leading supplier for instrumentation in rail vehicle drivers cabs, and why we are Germany's number one market leader with our driver assistance systems.

Stadtwerke München relies on powerful and durable GERSYS products

Stadtwerke München relies on proven GERSYS quality for the on-board devices of their vehicle fleet in the driver’s cab.

“The GERSYS HMI represents the ideal platform and driver control element of the ITCS (control system for bus and streetcar) for our latest streetcar vehicles of the type Avenio-TZ. The performance and durability, opens up the possibility for us to selectively improve and optimize the driving operation,” explains Alexander Oberbichler from SWM (traffic telematics – data management and control center technology).

This runs an Android app (see photo), which in particular maps the functions VoIP communication between driver and control center, vehicle location, passenger information and fault management.

As a company from Wolfratshausen in Upper Bavaria, we are of course particularly pleased about the cooperation with our strategically important partner Stadtwerke München.

CAF and GERSYS are happy about great project success at SNCF

The longtime partner CAF from Spain relies on new GERSYS HMI generation for the end customer SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Francais).

The vehicle type “EMU for medium and long Distance” (see photo) on the route Paris-Toulouse will be equipped over the next 10 years with modern, innovative and particularly robust PCAP Touch HMIs from GERSYS.

Ms. Onditz Permisán Bardavío of CAF Power & Automation emphasizes that especially for such a strategically important project, the outstanding durability and quality of GERSYS equipment was a decisive selection criterion.

GERSYS is looking forward to a further good cooperation in the SNCF project and to be part of this CAF success!

“Heinz Bähr brings wide-ranging experience from the technology sector,” said Huschke Diekmann, who is in charge of the Rail segment in the HÜBNER Group and has been serving as acting Managing Director for GERSYS in the preceding months. “Together with him we will continue to expand our technological capabilities and extend our range of products and services in the area of rail vehicles.”
